I've somehow never seen this movie, but Susan Hayward is just amazing. Actresses don't come like her anymore.
Valley of the Dolls is by no means a good movie- It's so good it's bad. But Susan Hayward give a crackling performance. She's much better than the movie deserves.
Did I actually say "So good it's bad "? Well, strike that. Reverse it.
