Avan Calling

Hooray for photographer to the stars Keith Munyan and Popstar! Magazine for giving the world this gorgeous image of hot, hot, hot Avan Jogia. When I saw this photo the only words that came to mind were, "Holy shit!" Classy, I know.

Why Aren't There More Good Pictures of Connor Paolo On the Internet?

When Connor Paolo was just a sprout there were pictures of him all over the Internet, flexing his barely adolescent biceps on One Life To Live, wrestling in a diaper in Alexander, tied, half naked to a bed on Law and Order Something or Other. However, now that he's no longer jail bait, and handsomer than ever, the Gossip Girl cutie is barely visible online, let alone in some sigh-worthy state of undress. And believe me, I've been looking. It's enough to make a girl stomp her cha-cha heels.

Model of the Moment

Ash Stymest looks like the love child of Cole Mohr and Gregory Smith. The 17-year-old Brit weighs about 75 lbs (just an educated guess), has a serious ink addiction, the face of an angel. I've noticed that stylists love to put him in very questionable outfits . If you think this fact will not be raised in the future you don't know me very well.

Book of the Day

Geeky Dreamboats by Sarah O'Brien & Lacey Soslow may be, well is, the kind of thing that someone could churn out over the weekend without much effort, and, in fact, frequently do, but the premise is so spot-on that I find it close to irresistible. Granted, you won't find much here that you couldn't find with a quick Google search, but I learned a few surprising facts. Demetri Martin is 36 years old? Really? Jake Gyllenhaal is a Swedish nobleman? Who knew?

I think some of their choices are suspect. Do you think Jake Gyllenhaal is really a geek? How about Paul Rudd? I'm not so sure. Zac Efron is in there too, but at least they make a good case for his geekdom. I'm not buying it, but it is a pretty good argument.

A Little Random Hotness

What we have here are two photographs that don't have much in common except hot boys in clothes that most people probably wouldn't wear. In the top photo we have our old friends Cole Mohr and Luke Worrall looking very cutting edge (for 1978), and then we have my current favorite boy model, even if he is no longer modeling, Ryan Taylor showing off his beautiful legs in an outfit that wouldn't look out of place in Wonka Land.

Clothes That Send a Message

What are you trying to tell us, Ryan?

Nice Underoos!

I have absolutely no idea who he is or where this picture came from, so I'll just say this: If he is doing porn I want to see it.

Model of an Earlier Moment

One of the first boys I ever posted on this blog (back when I had a readership of zero) was top Canadian totty Ryan Taylor, high school student and teen model extraordinaire. One can't believe everything one reads on the internet, but from what I've gathered, Ryan graduated from high school last spring, walked the runways over the summer and into the fall, then quit. Word on the street is that he grew tired of modeling and decided to get into something steady, like acting. Hope it works out for you, Honey. I don't know if you can act worth a damn, but you sure bring the pretty.

News That Makes Me Insanely Happy

From IMDb:

Warner To Make DVD Copies To Order

23 March 2009 2:41 AM, PDT

There are just so many DVDs that a retailer can keep in stock -- and for that reason, no studio has ever released its entire library of movies on DVD. But Warner Bros. Home Video now plans to launch a new program under which anyone will eventually be able to order any of 6,800 films in the Warner library and receive a made-to-order copy within a week. "This news is going to make a lot of people really happy," George Feltenstein, senior vice president of theatrical catalog marketing at Warner Home Video, told USA Today. The program apparently is being rolled out in stages. In the first stage, being launched today (Monday), about 150 films never released on DVD will be offered for sale at $19.95 for a physical DVD and $14.95 for download from the website warnerarchive.com.

I don't have nearly enough DVDs, so I am thrilled by this. Huzzah!

Um, Yes, That Is Amazing!

From the Golden Age of Comics comes AMAZING-MAN! Wikipedia tells me there were other characters called Amazing-Man, but this was the first one, which must make him the most amazing of them all! How amazing is he? He's so amazing that he can eat a large snake while manacled hand and foot. Amazing!

Random Shirtless Guy of the Day

Normally I am in agreement with Miss Janet Weiss when she says she doesn't like a man with "too many muscles", but in the case of model Chris Cuba I'm willing to make an exception. Those veins in his arms and pelvic area are devoooon!

Model of the Moment

Here's a model who was new to me just a few days ago, but suddenly I've been seeing quite a lot of him. Here's what I know about: His name is Colter Johnson, he pitches on his high school baseball team (yes, he's a senior in high school) and he is with the L.A. agency Nous.
