Where'd ya get those peepers? The peepers in question belong to a 20 year old actor from the UK named Nicholas McFadzean, who just made his first movie, an indy flick called The Soft Touch. These and other photos of Mr. McFadzean showed up today at Famous Male Forums,no doubt by way of a photographer named William David. It would be nice if it turns out that he can act, but we takes what we can get.

Boys On Film. Or, Rather, HD Video.
This little film comes to us from Vrag, an artsy lifestyle magazine out of Vancouver. It's always a pleasure to see half-naked young men kissing, don't you think? We need more of that.

Hey, Luke!
Australian model./actor Charlie Alexander makes a blatant bid to be considered for inclusion on Loco Luke's Luscious Lads.
And he shows off his underfed charms in this Polaroid. I must admit, I am a sucker for a farmer tan.
Serafim/Seraphim
The mop-topped angel you see here is a Robert Serafim, a teen model. OK, he's probably no angel, but he's pretty, don't you think? This is not his first time here. Some time ago I posted the picture of Robert you see directly below.
At that time I didn't know who he was. A few days ago, I noticed that he was getting a lot of views here, and I hit the internet to see what I could learn about him. Now, besides his name, I can tell you that he was born in Romania, but now lives in Florida, where he attends an "elite tennis academy." (Where's David Foster Wallace when you need him?) About a year and a half ago, his modeling agency posted a casting video of a then 15-year-old Robert awkwardly strutting his stuff for the camera. I don't include it here, you can find it on YouTube if you are interested, but it seems like a few added years have been good to him. I can see him having a pretty good career. And who knows? If this Tennis thing works out, maybe we'll get to see him at Wimbledon.
You likey? More after the jump.

The Long Overdue Sunday Roundup
Gosh, it has been a long time since I did one of these, hasn't it? Hope it has been worth the wait.
Lots more after the break.

Magic!
Yesterday, new Magic Mike images appeared at Entertainment Weekly's website, and subsequently, every other entertainment/news/gossip site in the world. People seem to be of two minds about this movie. Either they are outraged that such a thing even exists, or they can hardly wait until opening day. Can you guess which camp I'm in?
Also, our friend April want me to share an updated version of her homemade Magic Mike poster, and since I like looking at it, I agreed.

Gooey River
River Viiperi sure had a great year, landing several major gigs (Hello, Versace!), topping a lot of year-end polls as favorite male model of the year, and landing in Models.com's top five men of 2011. Naturally he would celebrate, as one does, by stripping down and having a gallon of Lite Karo Syrup poured over his head. What could be more wholesome or natural?

The Rentz Boy
I was looking for something on my hard drive this morning when I came across a cache of pictures of this cute guy, which I downloaded some time ago and forgot. His name is Eliot Joseph Rentz, and you might be surprised to learn that, although he poses for pictures occasionally, he is not a model. He's a fashion designer. If you are interested, you can see his work here. Adorable, he is, and, thank the gods, not shy. I'd love to see him on Project Runway.

Mistaken Identity
When I first saw the picture at the top of this post I sincerely believed, for a brief moment, that I was looking at a photograph of River Phoenix. Do you see the resemblance?
River Phoenix is one of those people who I really miss, despite the fact that I never knew him. I can't help wondering what might have became of him if he had allowed himself to live to a reasonable age instead of dying of an overdose on a Hollywood sidewalk at the age of 23. I guess I'm also still a bit angry with River Phoenix for what he did to himself.
The boy up top is Tom Guinness-Taylor, sometimes just Tom Guinness, a model who has done a lot of work for Burberry, and who, as you'll see in the pictures below, does not really look much like River Phoenix at all.

Loiterer
According to Models.com, Gianluca Albonico, pictured above, and below, was discovered when he "loitering outside of Fashion Model Management in Milan early one morning last November." If I saw someone who looked like this hanging out at my front door, I would surely take notice. Despite a questionable hairdo, and a sad tattoo, he looks like the real deal to me.

Becoming A Star In The Age of Internet
This is a sign of me getting old, I guess, but I've been surprised lately by what it takes to be famous on the the internet. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but a lot of people with very short resumes have some pretty diverse and devoted fan bases. Case in point is this fellow who I ran across recently. His name is James Gaisford and he's an actor. Mind you, he only has one IMDb credit, and that's for a supporting role in a DisneyXD movie. Did you see Den Brother? No, I didn't think so. So why does this guy have a "Fuckyeah" Tumblr devoted to him, and swooning fangirls tweating about him? It's because he plays the lead in an amateur YouTube video based on The Hunger Games novels. And that, in this new age, is all it takes. It's a brave new world, and I'm not complaining.
