Styles That Might Not Catch On
Granted, the styles here are not nearly as over-the-top as some of the crazy fashion I've featured in the past, but I needed a good reason to post these nice, new pictures, taken just two weeks ago during London Fashion Week, of the beauteous Rob Moore.
In the top photo we see a wearable, actually quite bland, blazer and slacks combo- the kind of thing you see on the street all the time- but with a strange, stiff, uncomfortable looking, metallic shirt. An odd combination.
In the second photo we go off the rails a bit. The first, and most egregious thing that catches the eye is the shiny black garment he is wearing. What is that? Shorts? A kilt? An apron? It seems to be made of... rubber? Pleather? Whatever it is, it doesn't look like something you'd want to sit down in. Underneath that he seems to be wearing some kind of overly-long boxer shorts, which are distinguished by their frayed, unfinished hem. Nice sweater, though. My aunt used to have one just like it in the 1980s.
Now, let's pay attention to he shoes for just a moment. In both photos I was a bit baffled by the idea of a dress shoe worn without socks, but a closer look tells a different story. You see, Rob is not wearing a conventional dress shoe at all. In the back the shoe is cut away like a sandal! Business in front, party in the rear. The mullet of footwear.
